What to bring

Don’t worry if you don’t have everything. Bring what you can, and we will tell you what else is needed.

Photo ID (passport or driver licence)
Any letters or decisions you have received, including the date you received them
Court or tribunal documents, if any
Your current visa details (for migration matters)
A short timeline of what has happened
A list of your questions

Interpreters

If English isn’t your first language, tell us when you book and we will arrange a qualified interpreter. Please don’t rely on family members to interpret legal advice.

Support person

You can bring someone for support. For some matters, including family violence, we may ask to speak with you alone for part of the meeting.

Confidentiality

What you tell us is confidential. We only share information with your permission or where the law requires it.
